The Church in Society Group is organising a Garden Party on Sunday 7 July, immediately after morning service, in the grounds of Jane and Richard Pedlar's beautiful garden.  Everyone welcome.  Food and drinks available, and donations appreciated for our two church charities - North Bristol Food Bank and The Vine Trust.​

As publicised earlier, the next Organ Treat will be held at Redland Park Church  on Saturday 22 June 2024, with coffee and cake at 10.30am, followed by a recital of 45 minutes at 11.00am by Claire Hobbs.  Please come and enjoy.

On Sunday 23 June 2024, we have A Tale of Joy at 3.00pm by the Amalthea Ensemble.  This ensemble are on tour in aid of the Joy of Learning (charity no 1194700) which supports the education and wellbeing of children previously cared for by the Sanyu Babies Home in Kampala, Uganda.  Join us for a wonderfully varied concert and help to change the lives of children who now live all over Uganda.

It's World Refill Day on 16 June!
World Refill Day, a global day of action for refill and reuse is back on Sunday 16 June. By coming together we can drive change and show businesses, brands, and governments the need to shift from single-use plastics to refill and reuse.
Research shows that while people want to reduce single-use packaging, there is a lack of access to reusable options. Governments must legislate mandatory standards for reuse to help the industry meet the rising demand and eliminate plastic pollution. A reusable future is possible, but we must act now!
Here’s how YOU can get involved

• Download the free Refill app.
• Download the campaign toolkit for individuals
• Write to your local candidate: use the template in the toolkit to ask them to support legally binding reuse targets of 30% reusable packaging by 2030.
• Post on social media: use the campaign assets and copy in the toolkit. Remember to tag @refillhq and include the hashtags #StepUpForReuse #WorldRefillDay.
