Celebrate friendship with us!
​We are Celebrating international friendship day by remembering Urijah Rees Thomas and Wilberforce Tribe, friends remembered here. Reverend Urijah was a Redland minister born in 1839 who helped many different charities supporting children and educational reform (including founding Penny Dinners for poor children in Bristol, and Barton Camp through the Bristol Children's Help Society). He lived with his best pal Wilberforce Tribe and his family until his death. Urijah is  buried next to Wilberforce, and left all his worldly goods to the youngest daughter of the Tribes.
