The BCNS have gained funding from Bristol City Council to house homeless people again from 1 October to the end of March 2024 in a small Bed and Breakfast hotel. Redland Park URC is supporting this by providing lunches for everyone every Wednesday - sandwiches, drinks, fruit, crisps and biscuits. Homeless people (relationship breakups, mortgage or rental crises) are referred by St Mungo's charity and are housed, provided with meals, but importantly are supported to get a bank account, work, and future secure accommodation.
