Churches Together in Clifton, Cotham and Redland have a series of ‘Lent Conversations’ called ‘What on Earth is the Church For?’ – looking at the role of the Church in today's world. The first event in the series is on Tuesday 14th March at Christ Church, Clifton Down Rd, Bristol BS8 3BN, with tea from 7pm with the talk starting at 7.30pm, followed by questions and discussion. Women's World Day of Prayer is Friday 3rd March this year, with the Philippines being this year's theme country. Hosted by Redland Parish Church, Redland Green Rd, Bristol BS6 7HE. Tea and coffee will be served from 10am, followed by a service at 11am. Men are welcome too! The flier below gives details of this event and the Lent Conversations, which start Tuesday 14th March.
